We had a wonderful dinner at "Marden's" this evening. Everything was outstanding: the food (mussels with a side of brussels sprouts and fish and chips), service (Anna was lovely) and the decor. We feel so fortunate to have a local family owned restaurant with THE BEST seafood! Looking forward to many return visits. Next time I will take pictures and post. The presentation of the food was lovely.

Our Story
Captain Marden’s Seafood began in 1945, founded by Master Mariner Captain Roy Marden and later joined by his wife Winnie and their sons, Edgar and Keith. The business expanded from its original West Newton retail store to a second location in Wellesley in 1960, eventually settling in a historic railroad station on Linden Street by 1975.
In 1986, they added The Captain’s TakeAway restaurant, which grew over the years into a full-service Restaurant. The wholesale division, led by Keith’s son Kim, moved to a larger facility in Westwood in 2001 and expanded further in 2009.
In 2012, the family launched The Cod Squad food truck, bringing their seafood to Boston and its suburbs. Today, the business remains family-run across three generations, continuing its legacy of quality seafood and service.
